Early dismissal authorized due to severe winter weather

WHITEMAN AFB, Mo. --  Team Whiteman,

Early release has been authorized by the installation commander for all but mission essential personnel effective at 1300 today due to rapidly deteriorating weather and road conditions.   The release today will follow the phased early release schedule outlined in Whiteman AFB Plan 10-207 (Wing Recall, Reporting, and Release Plan) 18.2 (Phase Release Schedule).

Please drive slowly and safely as you depart today as road conditions are becoming increasingly treacherous as the inclement weather continues.
