Charles R. Sibert, Air Force chief and former WWII POW, dies at 98

U.S. Air Force veteran Charles R. Sibert, is pictured with his granddaughter, Master Sgt. Kimberly Stone on Jan. 1, 2019 in Belton, Mo. Sibert was a WWII tail gunner and prisoner of war, who died of natural causes at home in Belton, Mo, March 12, 2022; he was 98.
