U.S. Air Force veteran Charles R. Sibert, is pictured with his granddaughter, Master Sgt. Kimberly Stone on Jan. 1, 2019 in Belton, Mo. Sibert was a WWII tail gunner and prisoner of war, who died of natural causes at home in Belton, Mo, March 12, 2022; he was 98.
