Laffey surprise homecoming
Nicole Averso, Kansas City Royals manager of event presentations, receives a U.S. flag from Tech. Sgt. Sean Laffy, armament specialist ,assigned to the 442d Maintenance Squadron prior to the opening pitch at Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Mo., May 19, 2018. The flag was flown in an A-10 over Afghanistan in support of operation Freedom’s Sentinel.
