A-10 Thunderbolt II pilot, Lt. Col. Michael Leonas, 303d Fighter Squadron, stands underneath a plaque honoring his great grandfather, Petras Leonas, in Kaunas, Lithuania Sept. 9. Leonas flew an A-10 into Kaunas International Airport as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The building where the plaque is mounted is where Leonas’s great grandfather lived during the 1920’s.
