Operation Atlantic Resolve

Lt. Col. John Marks, an A-10 Thunderbolt II pilot with the 303d Fighter Squadron, 442d Fighter Wing out of Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., trains with Air National Guard Joint Terminal Attack Controllers and Latvian military members in a simulator near Adazi Range in Latvia. This training is part of Operation Atlantic Resolve where the U.S. military is strengthening their relationship and partnership with their NATO allies to face future challenges. This is the same training the JTACs would get on the actual range, only here we can have inputs that you may not get in real world training. Here we can practice various scenarios, said Marks.
