Electrical work
Senior Airman Sarah Bower works on electrically grounding the "fill port" on the ARC-210 beyond-line-of-sight radio system on A-10 number 655 March 20, 2008. The fill port is used to load frequencies into the radio system that pilots will use during combat missions. Airman Bower is an avionics technician in the 442nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's Specialist Flight. The ARC-210 will enable pilots to communicate via satellite in flight and will not depend on the traditional line-of-sight limitations of previous communications systems. (U.S. Air Force photo/Maj.
