Memorial Day 2008

Colonel Robert S. Arthur (center) introduces honor guards from all four branches of the military and the U.S. Coast Guard, May 25, 2008, at the Kansas City Symphony's "Celebration at the Station" Memorial Day observance. The annual event, held at Kansas City's Union Station and World War I Liberty Memorial, attracts 40,000 spectators who enjoy patriotic music performed by the symphony, as well as ceremonies honoring America's armed forces.
