World War II mission planning
Members of the 442nd Troop Carrier Group plan missions into Europe during World War II. From the Normandy invasion to transporting members of the German high command to trial for war crimes at the conclusion of the war, 442nd members set a standard of excellence that continues today as the 442nd Fighter Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, continues to fly A-10s in combat to support the Global War on Terror.
