C-124 Lands at Richards-Gebaur
The 442nd Airlift Wing received the Air Force Reserve's first C-124 Globemaster cargo planes in April 1961. The wing flew these aircraft until 1971 when the wing transitioned to C-130 Hercules aircraft. Here, a C-124 lands at Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base in Kansas City.
