BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Tech. Sgt. Roderic Ventresca, left, and Staff Sgt. Mitch Rice, load 30 mm bullets into an A-10 Thunderbolt II here June 14 using an ammunitin loading assembly. The Sergeants are deployed here from the 442nd Fighter Wing, based at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. Maintenance Personnel from the 442nd FW are rotating on 30- to 120-day tours to support Operation Enduring Freedom here. In addition to maintenance Airmen, pilots, lifesupport people and intelligence specialists are deployed from the 442nd Fighter Wing's 303rd Fighter Squadron. The 442nd Fighter Wing is an Air Force Reserve unit and this is the third time the wing has deployed aircraft and people since 2001. (US Air Force photo/Maj. David Kurle)
