Load competition
Senior Airman Richard Fennewald attaches a guidance-control unit to a Mark-82 laser-guided bomb during an A-10 Thunderbolt II weapons-load competition at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. The competition is designed to hone the loaders' skills in safely and quickly rearming an A-10 after a combat sortie.
