Capt. David Kirkendall, an active-duty A-10 pilot from Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, prepares to taxi an A-10 from the Air Force Reserve's 442nd Fighter Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., Feb. 11.
