Golfing for Wright Flight

Staff Sgt. Cody Crichton chips onto the green at hole number six at the Royal Oaks Golf Course, Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., August 1 while Senior Airman Erik Lof, left, and Staff Sgt. Micah Gaches watch his shot. The three were part of a team from the 442nd Maintenance Squadron and participated in a charity golf tournament to benefit the Wright Flight program. Wright Flight is a program to teach kids self determination and goal setting using aviation as its theme. Many members of the 442nd Fighter Wing volunteer their time for the Wright Flight program through the wing's Human Resources Development Council. The tournament raised more than $1,500 for the program. (U.S. Air Force photo/Maj. David Kurle)
