Into the cockpit

As a reward for successful completion of the 442nd Fighter Wing-sponsored Wright Flight mentoring program, Rory McGraw, a sixth-grade student at Hardin Central School in Hardin, Mo., climbs into an airplane for his flight over central Missouri at the culmination of this year's Wright Flight program. Area private pilots provided the flights to the students for free during the Wright Flight fly day at the Carrollton, Mo., airport April 21, 2007. The 442nd FW is an Air Force Reserve Command A-10 Thunderbolt II fighter unit based at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. (US Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Bill Huntington)
