A-10 surge operations

Maintenance crews from the 442nd Fighter Wing's 442nd Maintenance Group prepare an A-10 for flight July 12, 2009, during an exercise to practice for the wing's upcoming operational readiness inspection in October. In a program initiated by the 442nd Chaplain's office, wing members will be able to offer up prayers for A-10 pilots and ground crews to help fly the required number of sorties during the inspection.
