442nd Fighter Wing ORI

Tech. Sgt. Clay Hudson, 442nd Logistics Readiness Squadron, gets ready for a convoy to "Camp Rock" during the 442nd Fighter Wing's operational readiness inspection Oct. 24 at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. Citizen Airmen from the 442nd Mission Support Group operated from the camp during the two-day field-training portion of the inspection. Members of the 442 LRS provide transportation, supply, fuel and other logistics functions to the 442nd FW, which is an Air Force Reserve unit based at Whiteman. An inspector general team from Headquarters Air Combat Command arrived at Whiteman Oct. 23 and is expected to deliver a report on the wing's performance Oct. 29.
