Award

Maj. David Kurle, 442nd Fighter Wing chief of public affairs, was recently named the May 2010, field-grade officer performer of the month at the Combined Air and Space Operations Center in Southwest Asia. Major Kurle has been deployed since December as the chief of media operations for U.S. Air Forces Central Command. He oversees media resonse, coordination and outreach for 14 deployed units in six countries. He is expected back in July. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Dillon White/released)
