Maj. Lee Saugstad takes off from Hill Air Force Base, Utah, in an A-10C Thunderbolt II Aug. 30. Major Saugstad is a pilot assigned to the 303rd Fighter Squadron, part of the 442nd Fighter Wing, an Air Force Reserve unit based at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. Approximately 70 reservists from the wing deployed to Hill for live-munitions training at the Utah Test and Training Range.
