Tech. Sgt. Kathy Morrison cleans a spectrometer after analyzing engine oil from an A-10C Thunderbolt II Aug. 30 at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Sergeant Morrison is works in the non-destructive inspection section of the 442nd Maintenance Squadron, part of the 442nd Fighter Wing, based at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. She was one of approximately 70 Air Force Reservists from the wing who deployed to Hill to support live-munitions training for the wing's pilots. Sergeant Morrison uses the spectrometer to look for anomolies in oil samples taken from the A-10's turbo-fan engines.
