Tech. Sgt. Butch Portell, Master Sgt. James Kirksey and Staff Sgt. Kenneth Meadows fit a launcher onto a live AGM-65 Maverick missile so it can be loaded onto an A-10C Thunderbolt II at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, Aug. 31. The three Airmen are from the 442nd Maintenance Group, part of the 442nd Fighter Wing, based at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. They were part of a 70-person deployment with six aircraft that supported live-fire weapons training for the wing's pilots at the Utah Test and Training Range.
