Thunderbirds meet veterans at Whitman AFB
Maj. Sean Gustafson, Air Force Thunderbird pilot, talks with an Air Force veteran at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., Sept. 17, following the Thunderbirds' rehearsal for the Wings Over Whiteman air show. Major Gustafson is the first Air Force Reserve pilot to fly with the prestigious Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team, which visited Whiteman for a two-day air show Sept. 18 and 19.
