Hawgsmoke 2010
Lt. Col. Dave Trimble and spectators look skyward as A-10 Thunderbolt IIs conduct strafing passes at the Sayler Creek Range near Boise, Idaho, Oct. 14 during Hawgsmoke 2010. Colonel Trimble is the deputy commander of the 190th Operations Group, Idaho Air National Guard, part of the 124th Fighter Wing, which hosted Hawgsmoke. Hawgsmoke is a biennial A-10 bombing and gunnery competition that pits U.S. Air Force A-10 squadrons against one another. The Idaho Air National Guard's 190th Fighter Squadron won Hawgsmoke 2010 just as it did in 2008. (U.S. Air Force photo/Lt. Col. David Kurle)
