Hawgsmoke 2010

A pilot from the 47th Fighter Squadron, U.S. Air Force Reserve, fires the cannon on an A-10 Thunderbolt II from the 917th Wing over the Sayler Creek Bombing Range near Boise, Idaho, Oct. 14 during Hawgsmoke 2010. Hawgsmoke is a biennial A-10 bombing and gunnery competition that pits U.S. Air Force A-10 squadrons against one another. The Idaho Air National Guard's 190th Fighter Squadron won Hawgsmoke 2010 just as it did in 2008. The 917th Wing is based at Barksdale Air Force Base, La. (U.S. Air Force photo/Lt. Col. David Kurle)
