2011 Deployment

Tech. Sgt. Brian Bilbruck, 442nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron supply technician, board a plane headed for Afghanistan Dec. 28, 2011. Bilbruck brought a blanket made by his aunt to remind him of home. He is one of approximately 130 reservists who deployed that day in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The deployed reservists are scheduled to return in the spring. The 442nd OSF is part of the 442nd Fighter Wing, an A-10 Thunderbolt II Air Force Reserve unit at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.
