URGENT: Sunday March 2, Unit Training Assembly canceled Published March 1, 2014 By 442d Fighter Wing Public Affairs WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo -- Due to a large winter weather system moving into the Whiteman Air Force Base area, the 442d Fighter Wing's Sunday March 2, Unit Training Assembly has been canceled. All 442d FW members are directed not to report to work on Sunday March 2. The weather is expected to deteriorate rapidly late this evening, continuing throughout the day tomorrow, with a 100 percent chance of snow and ice accumulation. Airmen will be allowed to excuse or reschedule the Sunday March 2, UTA. This decision should be communicated with each individual's immediate supervisor. Please use extreme caution when driving home this evening and it is advised that you make plans to stay indoors and off the road tomorrow. Above all else, be safe and use good judgment until the hazardous weather conditions clear.
