ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- The April issue of Citizen Airman is available at http://www.citamn.afrc.af.mil/.

The cover story features a new office at the Pentagon designed to promote integration among the active duty, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard.

Also included are articles on the report issued by the National Commission on the Structure of the Air Force, changes going on within Air Force Reserve Command concerning force development and career management, an effort on the part of the Air Force to switch to a different type of jet fuel that is expected to save millions of dollars
annually, the Department of Defense's 2015 budget proposal, changes to the Air Force's physical fitness standards, the command's search for new recruiters, a new inspection program that focuses more on a unit's mission readiness rather than how well it prepares for an inspection and a 315th Airlift Wing Reservist featured in the latest volume of the Air Force chief of staff's Portraits in Courage book.
