COMMENTARY: Santa's reflections on visit to 442d Fighter Wing

WHITEMAN AFB, MO --  The 442d Fighter Wing welcomed several distinguished visitors to the Christmas party yesterday, but no one else had a 300-person-long line to meet them!  I hope I was able to brighten the holiday season for some of you and your families.

Mrs. Clause suggested I fly my supersonic A-10 into Whiteman, since the list of good children from the wing was so long that I arrived an hour earlier than planned. I wanted to meet with as many children as possible to thank you for generously loaning your parents to the wing this year.

I was happy to have the chance to tell your recent deployers welcome HO HO HOME!
