Comments from new 442FW MDS commander Published June 5, 2015 By Lt Col Edward Cullumber 442d Medical Squadron WHITEMAN AFB, Mo. -- The mission of the 442d Medical Squadron is to "Train and Provide medical support to Ready Reservists." Our medical providers, technicians, and support team are dedicated to meet your needs by being the premier medical squadron through providing quality service. With that in mind, we continually strive to find ways to improve the services we provide to the men and women of the 442nd. Thanks to a recent analysis of our process, we will be making changes over the next few months. This will increase our efficiency and ultimately limit the amount of time our patients are waiting. There are several ways that you can help us serve you better. First, due to space and computer constraints at our location, it is essential that you complete your Web-based Health Assessment prior to your scheduled physical appointment. Secondly, if you have a health condition that restricts you from aspects of the physical fitness test and/or performance of your duties, you must report this to the medical squadron. Written notification from your physician with your medical diagnosis, the prognosis of the medical issue, and specifically what your limitations are is required for any profile. Finally, our military dentists are required to assess your dental health every year. However, if you have your civilian dentist complete a DD Form 2813 and you turn it in you will only have to be seen by a military dentist once every three years.
