Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. -- Lt. Col. Paul Brown assumed command of the 303d Fighter Squadron from Lt. Col. Ryan Hodges September 10, 2023, during a ceremony held in the 5-bay maintenance hanger here.
Col. Mark Orek, 442d Operations Group commander, presided over the ceremony.
Brown is a command A-10C instructor pilot with more than 3,900 flying hours and has completed five combat tours in Afghanistan.
In his civilian capacity, Brown is employed by a major airline as a Boeing 777 first officer.
