Air Force Reserve Command  judges have selected  two semifinalists to represent Reserve Citizen Airmen in the Spark Tank 2021 campaign.

The annual campaign encourages intrapreneurship, innovation and adoption of emerging technologies by having Airmen submit ideas on how to address pain points within their organizations.

In the early stages of the campaign, Total Force Airmen submit ideas to their major commands with hopes to advance through the ranks and be one of the six contestants to pitch their ideas to the secretary of the Air Force, chief of staff of the Air Force, chief master sergeant of the Air Force and celebrity judges at the 2021 Air Force Association’s Warfare Symposium held in Orlando, Florida, in February.

Reserve Citizen Airmen are highly encouraged to support their wingmen by logging into the crowdsourcing platform Airman Powered by Innovation (CAC required) and vote for their favorite ideas (direct links below).

AFRC semifinalist winners are:

Idea# 10407 submitted by Master Sgt. Jason Wiley, 302nd Air Lift Wing. (pitch video)

Fuel Cell Training Hub (CAC required)

Idea# 8103 submitted by Technical Sgt. Alec Wamsher, 934th Air Lift Wing. (pitch video)
