Senior Airman Ricardo Miranda: “I was born in El Salvador, I came to the United States when I was five, and I have been here ever since, I am 28 now and have grown up here all of my life. I have been here for three years after enlisting straight into the reserve, this is my home unit and I love everyone here in it. On the civilian side I work for Honeywell, and out there I am an inspector.”
PA: “What are some of the biggest opportunities you had in the Air Force?”
M: “Overall, I would say education, the Air Force has helped out a lot with that, its kind of what motivated me the most as it helped me pay for more schooling. along with discipline. It’s really opened a lot of doors for me like traveling and seeing different places and doing different things. Lastly, helping out with my family especially my daughters.”
PA: “Do you have any future goals or plans in mind?”
M: “Honestly right now I am taking it a day at a time, I got long term goals to travel and see a lot of different places with family, but as of right now I am just taking every day as it comes.”
