442d Fighter Wing announces STEP II selectees

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- 442d Fighter Wing leadership announced the current selectees of Stripes for Exceptional Performers II today. The following 442d members were selected:

Staff Sgt. to Tech. Sgt.

Cedric Norton, 442d MXS

Kevin Meives, 442d AMXS

STEP II is a commander's program designed to promote well deserving Air Force Reserve members to one grade above the authorized grade for their positions. Only Airmen who clearly demonstrated outstanding potential and ability to serve in the next higher grade were selected.

The Date of Rank and Promotion Effective Date for those selected will be 1 October 2019.
