Not just one, but two Air Force Reserve Command senior leaders visited the Citizen Airmen of the 442nd Fighter Wing during their November unit-training-assembly Nov. 7 and 8 here.

Maj. Gen. Frank Padilla, commander of 10th Air Force, the parent organization of the 442nd FW, arrived here Nov. 6.  He spent the weekend visiting with reservists in the wing's three groups and medical squadron before leaving Nov. 8.

The general also spoke to the wing at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the 303rd Fighter Squadron's new operations building and during a barbecue for the entire wing on Nov. 7.

Nov. 8 saw the arrival of Lt. Gen. Charles Stenner, commander of Air Force Reserve Command and chief of the Air Force Reserve.  General Stenner addressed the wing and took questions from reservists during a town-hall meeting in the wing's 5-Bay Hangar.

Later, the Air Force Reserve commander visited with the wing's senior leadership.
