Capt. Lisa Gaines, maintenance officer; Staff Sgt. Derrick Caldwell, munitions technician; and Chief Master Sgt. Darold Fish, munitions flight superintendent; attend a joint services noncommissioned officer induction where Caldwell was inducted to the NCO Corps. Deployed reservist participates in Joint NCO Induction Ceremony

442nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan -- Staff Sgt. Derrick Caldwell, currently assigned to the 451st Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, was inducted to the NCO Corps, Jan. 16.

During the ceremony, deployed noncommissioned officers from the U.S. Army and Air Force as well as Slovakian Army were inducted.

Caldwell is a munitions technician with the 442nd Maintenance Squadron, part of the 442nd Fighter Wing, Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.
