Security forces head out for deployment

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. --  Approximately 25 members of the 442nd Security Forces Squadron left March. 20, 2013 for a deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The security forces reservists headed to Manas Airbase, Kyrgyzstan to provide base and local protection. The Citizen Airmen received weapons, combat and academic training for several months prior to the deployment. They are expected to return in September 2013.
