A-10 strikes overhead line near Stockton Lake, Mo.

A-10 Thunderbolt II assigned to the 442nd Fighter Wing at Whiteman AFB struck an overhead line near Stockton Lake, Mo. The aircraft was on a local, low altitude, navigational-training mission. The pilot returned safely to Whiteman AFB and did not sustain any injuries. The estimated damage to the aircraft is unknown at this time. The event is under investigation in accordance with Air Force safety regulations.
