442nd Tactical Airlift Wing
The wing shield of the 442nd Tactical Airlift Wing, which later became the 442nd Fighter Wing, an Air Force Reserve unit based at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. The three stars represent the three tactical airlift squadrons in the wing at the time, along with a stylized globe.
