442 LRS, FSS team up for training deployment

Tech. Sgts. Jordan Aggson and Max Miller, 442nd Logistics Readiness Squadron Petroleum Oil and Lubricant specialists, operate a valve to off-load one-million gallons of jet fuel from a barge at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., during a deployment for training there May 6-20. Fuel for Eglin's fleet of aircraft is delivered by sea, given the location of the base on the Gulf of Mexico. Sixty-eight Citizen Airmen from the 442 LRS and 442nd Force Support squadron completed a two-week training tour at Eglin and Duke Field, Fla., to hone home-station and mission-readiness skills.
