442 FW dominates AFRC maintenance, logistics readiness awards

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Air Force Reserve Command has announced the 2015 Maintenance and Logistics Readiness Awards.

Maintenance winners:

Senior Airman Rachel D. Upshaw, 707th Maintenance Squadron, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, won the the Chief Master Sgt Thomas N. Barnes Award, (Crew Chief of the Year).

The 442nd Maintenance Squadron Centralized Repair Facility, Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, won the AFRC Maintenance Section of the Year Award.

The 442nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Weapons Load Section, Whiteman AFB, won the AFRC Outstanding Weapons Load Crew of the Year.

The 434th Maintenance Group Quality Assurance Section, Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana, won the AFRC Maintenance Group Quality Assurance Award.

Logistics winners:

The 50th Aerial Port Squadron, March Air Reserve Base, California, won the National Defense Transportation Association Unit Award.

The 934th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Quality Assurance Office, Minneapolis-St Paul Air Reserve Station, Minnesota, won the AFRC Logistics Readiness Squadron Quality Assurance Award.

Maj. Daniel R. Posch, 442nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Whiteman AFB, won the Gen. Thomas P. Gerrity Logistics Award.
